Christine Barrès

Wife, mother and housewife: Christine's career as a painter is shaped by her identity as a woman. She discovered painting almost by chance and developed her characteristic style during numerous travels. Her emotions are her colours, which she creates herself using pigments and acrylic. They lend her paintings power, energy and poetry – and an unshakeable optimism. Christine has remained true to her roots and lives in her hometown of Rodez in southern France.
