Bellis Perennis

Behind the pseudonym Bellis Perennis, Latin for daisy, hides an artist collective from the venerable German spa town of Baden-Baden. Their artistic work is based on the reuse of oil paintings from olden times, some of which are painted over, some altered and some sup-plemented. The result is a humorous, ironical and unique combination of old and new, in which the old and discarded is ostentatiously dis-played and given new life.
