Florian Nörl developed the technique of ‘textile stone’. As a counter-point to the throwaway mentality, he breathes new life into old fabrics by petrifying them and combining them into colourful, aesthetic and almost organic-looking compositions. The result is unique works that are unparalleled in the art world. It takes time to discover even the smallest details and grasp the different moods. Florian was born in Regensburg, Bavaria, and lives in Linz, Austria.
