Florian Nörl's artistic focus are his „textile stone“ works in which he transforms postmodern materials into contemporary art.

Florian's work is always about colour and aesthetics. The colours arecreated through the combination of different coloured fabric, whichunfold their full effect in the eye of the beholder. What particularlycharacterises the „textile stones" is the stone-like hardness of the material and at the same time the surface, which  appears velvety and soft.

Florian's work brings a unique perspective on the transformation ofmaterials and the beauty of textiles in contemporary art.

Forian was born in Bavaria and lives in Linz, Austria. He has exhibitedat numerous fairs in Europe and the USA.
